Path & Light is a small independent project in San Francisco, California, United States. We are building a quieter place for Scripture, prayer, and reflection. A verse behind our name is Psalm 119:105: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (KJV).

These terms apply to this website and waitlist only. They do not govern an unreleased app, a subscription, or an AI service. Separate app terms will be supplied before those services launch. When submitting the waitlist form, you confirm that you are at least 18 and accept these terms.
2. An app in development
Path & Light is an iPhone Bible, prayer, and reflection app being developed. Screenshots show a development build and may carry its former name, Vesper. Features, appearance, supported translations, release timing, and availability may change. The AI assistant is not publicly available. No launch date is guaranteed.
3. Planned memberships
Offline Bible reading and journaling remain available without payment or an account. Planned US prices for optional Plus membership are $49.99 per year, $4.99 per week, or $12.99 per month. Only the annual plan offers a 3-day free trial, for eligible subscribers. Monthly is available under “View all plans.” These are development plans, not a checkout offer on this website; no purchase is available here.
When App Store purchasing is enabled, the purchase screen will show the local price, billing period, eligible trial, and renewal terms before confirmation. An eligible annual trial renews at the displayed annual price unless cancelled. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel through your Apple account. Refund requests are handled through Apple and applicable law. Deleting the app or an app account does not cancel billing.
“Save 80%” compares the $49.99 annual price with 52 weekly payments of $4.99 ($259.48), rounded down. It is not an additional discount from the annual price. AI features remain subject to stated usage limits.
4. What joining means
You ask us to send one launch announcement to the email address you provide. Joining is free. It is not an order, a paid subscription, a reservation, or a guarantee of beta access or release. Submit only an address you control. You may leave by contacting hello@pathandlight.com from that address. Our Privacy Policy describes how the signup is handled.
5. Using the website
Do not submit other people’s addresses without their permission, bypass security controls, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the service. We may reject abusive submissions or temporarily suspend the form to protect users.
6. Content and attribution
Our original copy, branding, design, and screenshots may be protected by intellectual property law. Other content remains subject to its own rights and licences. Nothing here limits uses permitted by law or an applicable open licence.
Artwork includes Thomas Cole’s The Oxbow, provided through The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Open Access programme. The bundled Cormorant Garamond font is used under the SIL Open Font License. Scripture and artwork shown in app previews have their own attribution and territorial requirements; these terms do not grant rights we do not hold.
7. Faith and AI
Path & Light is intended to support Bible study and reflection alongside your church community. AI-generated interpretations can be inaccurate and can differ from your tradition. They do not replace Scripture, a pastor, professional advice, or emergency services. This website itself provides no AI chat or counselling service.
8. Availability and responsibilities
We aim to keep the website available and its descriptions accurate, but outages and mistakes can happen. To the extent permitted by law, the website is offered as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or a particular launch outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, consumer rights, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. External links
Links to museums and service providers lead to websites operated by others. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. A link does not give us control over their content.
10. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms, recording the new date here and highlighting material changes as appropriate. We will not treat a previous signup as permission for unrelated marketing. California law governs these website terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing here takes away mandatory local consumer protections.
