You can delete your Path & Light account at any time. Here is how, and what happens when you do.
In the app
- Open Path & Light and go to Profile.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, email hello@pathandlight.com and ask us to delete your account. Tell us whether you signed in with Apple, Google or an email address. We don’t keep your email address with your account, so we will reply to help you confirm which account is yours before we delete it.
What is deleted
- Your account, your sign-in sessions and the link to your Apple or Google sign-in.
- Everything synced to your account: journal entries, saved prayers, highlights, bookmarks and notes, reading and plan progress, your streak days, profile details and settings.
Your Ask history is kept only on your iPhone, never on our servers. Copies already on your iPhone stay there until you delete the app. Our providers’ backups may keep copies for a limited time before they are overwritten. Some records are kept where the law requires it, such as subscription records for tax and accounting. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a Path & Light Plus subscription, because Apple bills it. To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Path & Light there.
