A Bible app that answers your questions

Yes. Path & Light has Ask: you type a question in your own words and get an answer that quotes and cites verses from the Bible you’re reading, with links to open each one in its chapter. When Christians read a passage differently, the answer says so. Free accounts get a few questions a day; Path & Light Plus gives you more.

How Ask works

  • Ask about a verse, a chapter, a word or anything on your mind.
  • The answer quotes the exact words of your Bible and names the verse, so you can read it in context.
  • Where Christian traditions read a passage differently, the answer describes the views fairly instead of picking a side.
  • Every answer has a Report button if something looks wrong.

What it isn’t

Answers are written by AI and can be mistaken, and pastors or theologians don’t review each one. Read the passage yourself, and bring important questions to your pastor or church.

Other apps with AI answers

Logos has Study Assistant, which footnotes its answers to the books in its library, and Hallow has Hallow AI, based on Catholic teaching. See Path & Light vs Logos and Path & Light vs Hallow.
